SUMMARY :
Once Upon a Time, in Mount Olympus, the gods Zeus and Hera had a beautiful and strong baby boy, and his name was Hercules. While the other gods were joyful and joined in the celebration of the newborn god, there was Hades, who plotted to overthrow his brother Zeus and conquer Mount Olympus. Through the Fates, Hades learned that in eighteen years, an alignment of the realms would allow him to free the Titans to conquer Olympus, but only if Hercules wouldn't interfere. And so, Hades sent his minions, Pain and Panic, to murder his nephew, providing them with a potion that can strip a god of immortality.

While the two are successful in kidnapping baby Hercules from Mount Olympus, they not only failed to murder the child but were unable to give him every last drop of the potion; therefore Hercules was only stripped of immortality and retained his godly strength. Pain and Panic were forced to abandon Hercules in the Enchanted Forest, where a farmer and his wife come across the child. After years of praying to the Gods to be blessed with a child of their own, they saw the abandoned baby as a sign and decided to raise Hercules as their own son.

For the next eighteen years, Zeus and Hera were forced to watch as their soon lived a mortal life in the Enchanted Forest. They wished they could do something to bring their son home, but alas, there was nothing they could do but watch their boy grow up without knowing their love. As for Hercules, he grew up to become an outcast for his inability to control his strength. Curious of his origins, Hercules eventually decided to visit the Temple of Zeus for answers. There, he discovered who his birth parents were and that the only way to reunite with them on Mount Olympus, was to become a hero.

Hercules trained relentlessly with the help of a satyr named Philoctetes. Overtime, he became the hero he strived to become, and defeated every creature Hades had sent after him. And eventually, after defeating Hades and the Titans and ensuring the safety of Mount Olympus, he had been restored as a god and met his parents, Zeus and Hera. Hercules had even discovered the power of true love, which certainly had its up and downs along the way. But in the end, their had conquered all, and Hercules had decided to remain in the Enchanted Forest to be with Megara rather than return to his true home on Mount Olympus.

Things were peaceful for a while. Hercules and Megara lived happily together in the Enchanted Forest and would go on to start a family of their own. But what the happy couple didn't know was that Hades had been forming a plan since he had been defeated all those years ago. The God of the Underworld would stop at nothing until he destroyed his nephew's happy ending. Fortunately, before Hades could go through with his plans, the Evil Queen's dark curse had swept through the land.

For the next twenty-eight years, Hercules and Megara forgot their life together. They became nothing more than strangers in the small town of Storybrooke, Maine in the Land Without Magic. But when the prophesied Savior crosses the town border, things begin to change. Suddenly, Hercules and Megara ━ now known as Atlas Andreadis and Ivette Florakis ━ are drawn together once more and fall in love all over again.

ADDITIONAL NOTES :
━ I didn't like the way they adapted the Disney animated movie Hercules into OUAT, so this plot will be a new take on that film. It will follow the plot more accurately but with a few little twists to make it fit into the world of OUAT.

━ This story begins with the pilot episode of OUAT, however, will feature flashbacks of both the animated movie Hercules to show those events/the fun OUAT twists I've added to that plot and also the war with the Evil Queen. One of the things I didn't change was that Snow White and Hercules are friends, therefore he will support both her and Charming in their war.

━ The timeline goes as followed: Hercules (18) and Megara (20) meet and fall in love, they get married a year later at the ages of 19 and 21, their son is born two years into their marriage when they are 21 and 23, and the Evil Queen casts the dark curse ten years later when they are 31 and 33.

━ Therimachus is the son of Hercules and Megara. He was only ten when the Evil Queen cast the dark curse, so for the past twenty-eight years, he has been stuck as a ten-year-old boy.

━ Hercules' cursed identity is Atlas Andreadis and he is the sheriff's deputy. His backstory is that he lost his wife and son in a car accident. Atlas lives in the same apartment building as Mary Margaret Blanchard, who he isn't really friends with. But they are friendly as neighbours. His closest friend is Graham considering they work together. But he'll eventually befriend Emma when she is elected as sheriff.

━ Megara's cursed identity is Ivette Florakis. Her backstory is that her husband left her when their son was born and she's been a single mother ever since. Ivette works two jobs to support her son. During the week, she works at the school as a teacher and on the weekends she works as a florist. She spends a lot of time with Mary Margaret Blanchard at the school, so the two of them are good friends.

━ Therimachus' cursed identity is Terrence "Terry" Florakis. He lives only with his mom and constantly feels guilty that she is always working her two jobs to support them in their tiny little apartment. Terry has always been curious about his father, but his mother hasn't said much. His best friend and eventual love interest is Henry Mills.

━ As Henry's best friend, Terry will be apart of Operation Cobra and help Henry in convincing Emma that she is the Savior. Henry will also help Terry scheme to get his parents together after they realize that Atlas is Hercules and Ivette is Megara from the storybook.
━ In Greek mythology, Hercules and Megara have between 3-8 children. But in this story, they will only have three children and they will all be sons. Terry is the only son that they have at first, but after Emma breaks the curse, they will have two more sons named Creontiades and Deicoon.

━ Later, when we get to season five with Hades, things will go down and you will learn more about his plan to ruin Hercules' happy ending.

━ Additional castings include: Timothy Omundson as Zeus, Saffron Burrows as Hera, Danny DeVito as Philoctetes, Ian McKellen as Amphitryon (Hercules' adopted father) and Kathy Bates as Alcmene (Hercules' adopted mother.) If you are not a fan of some of these, I am willing to discuss changes, but you must run your ideas by me first.

━ I currently don't have younger castings for Hercules and Megara for when they are 18 and 20. You don't necessarily need younger castings if you don't want them considering it's just flashback scenes. But if you really want younger castings for them, I am willing to help or listen to your ideas.
